mmm.. i have to disagree on that point, i remember the first time i played Nintendogs on 2005, by that time i didnt knew much about the DS i wasnt as much into videogaming news and stuff as i am right now, the game simply blew me away, it was completely unexpected at that time i considered myself a hardcore, i spent my days playing Starcraft if memory serves me well... the game was brilliant i didnt expect 3D graphics on a portable console (i didnt knew much about the PSP either i was exceptical about it as ive always been with everything with Sony on it) , the touch screen reacted perfectly, the microphone did so too, and who cares! playing with the cute dogs was fun *.*, taking them to walk and training them everyday, taking them into tournaments, washing them everything seemed completely different from anything before.

I think its an experience that completely exploted the DS capabilities, a Wii version would be weird... the only fun part would be throwing the frisbee and we already did that on WSR, i think Eyepet is closer to Nintendogs than any pet game that could be made on the Wii and yet it doesnt get close to Nintendogs

u r right about that cgi i just said that because someone said sony's were better and there is nothing wrong with sony entering those markets and competing in those markets, so yes i was wrong about calling them "rip-offs"

well i meant i thought nintendo would have come up with a camera for the wii and make something similar to eyepet just with their nintendogs and market the heck out of it, if i was nintendo i would still do it, with the first nintendogs selling a good 24 million im sure that would shift alot of gamers from the DS to the Wii

mmm.. you are assuming to much, people wont just jump from the DS to the Wii for a port, they want more, Nintendo could just release every game out there in both plataforms both they have different qualities, you cant just add a camera to the Wii and make the same experience over again, i think the touch screen made it feel natural because you were actually touching something,

Nintendogs was before tamagotchi though.

Shiggy started the project in 95 for N64 but it was a parrot instead but the project got put on infinite hold until the DS where they changed it to a dog.

thats true but i think nintendo could come up with something unique or that would work for the wii, they are the best videogame company ever!

It was in an interview he did a few years ago in a gaming mag.

I just don't remember if it was his big EGM one or one of the many he did in old NP mags.

I do remember he changed it to a dog after he got one and was to be a gamecube game also but the projrct was moved to DS.
