Forums - General Discussion - Mafia Round 12 - Game Thread

I think this should have been labelled an experiment in the OP. Something like, "the rules of this game may not be as expected; do not believe anything."

Interesting idea, but since no one figured it out (that everyone else was an even/odd day SK too) it was impossible to get useful; day discussion. Taking the emphasis away from day discussion made it a boring Mafia game, since only nights mattered.

I have to agree with Final-fan on this one. This might have been a lot of fun for you, but it was just boring from this end. Ho, hum everyone dies. There is no point in actually paying attention because it is meaningless. There is nothing to figure out, and no real strategy to employ. Just hope you don't get night killed early and wait for the day to end.

I don't think it's true no one figured it out. TruckO did, for example, shame he was killed very soon

What the hell?..

And..

Screw you, DGC!

I'm sorry... but i thought it was the perfect cover. Part of my role was that when I'm investigated I show up innocent. After you died, I either expecting to be investigated or no one would think i would do it after those past games.

Also, i'm a bit disappointed. I wanted this role for lord knows how long now and when I do get it it's nothing special for that game... Everybody and their grandmother was a serial killer...

I'll just ask that you let us know if future games will be like this so I too can stay away

I figured it out as I was thinking about who to kill on Night Two.  It doesn't matter though.  Even if everyone figured it out, there would still be no useful conversation to be had.  Everyone was just playing for themselves.

I agree that a game like this is much more interesting for the Mod than the players involved.  It became clear after Night One that days were pointless, and that pretty much killed discussion.

I realized everyone was a SK right after I told you my predictions on what everyone was.

Now, while an interesting idea, and I got to tell lots of lies (since I wasn't town) no one else was willing to put a story together to lynch anyone since everyone wanted to stay out of everyone's mind.

I also think that due to the large number of deaths, no theories lasted more than 1 day worth of discussion. This kills any past accusations after people die during the night.

So while I had a lot of fun getting MM lynched, it had too many drawbacks.

How kind. =/

Whoa! I come from a 3 day absence and I win!?

SWEET!!!!

I love y'alls Christmas present.

@j0

If you really think about it.. all that means is that no one cared that you were even gone or thought you were worth killing
