to me i want it to be as good as Crash Team Racing.
that game made me forget about Mario Kart completely, i don't think this game will be that good though, i hope so.

I agree with it being just a fun game. Where's the problem?

No problem, just saying I don't think it's a MK killer at all, and the title was posed as a question rather than a statement meant to catch interest and hopefully read what I said to begin with and the fact the beta went up last night and no ones talked about it yet so I was hoping for a nice discussion :D

Seems very similar so far.  You get boost for big air and and power sliding, but it just fills up the boost meter you don't have to press R1 at the right time.  I haven't seen any power ups which is a big disappointment.  However the game seems really fun. Could be  little faster on the load times but it's really not bad. The Story seems hilarious and i love the graphics and humor. I hope there is an adventure mode.  Now to try my hand at creating tracks.

 

Any way to change the controls?  I have yet to see it in the options. How do you do stunts in the air?

I'm against threads like this. Even if you mention it's only about gameplay and features, people will still want to compare sales and acclaim.

OT: I'm still hoping to get into the beta.
