I'm definitely going to get this game on PC. I just hope my PC can handle it.
It doesn't really seem like it has any competition in January though.

My expectations are way higher for this game than part one. I hate watching Mass Effect teasers because they freaking kill me!!! I MUST GET MY HANDS ON THE SECOND ACT!!!
They have no reason to be worried either, there are no other WRPG's in sight that can compete quality wise next year. The only WRPG I'm equally excited about now is another Elder Scrolls game.

They weren't going to release it right on top of Dragon Age anyway. All they would really have to worry about is Fable III, and that won't be releasing in close to the same window.

Fable 3 is due in Q4 of calendar 2010. They will come out at LEAST 10 months apart and that's if they both remain on schedule. I don't think they'll cannibalize oneanother at all.
Nonetheless, FFXIII WILL provide competition to Mass Effect 2. It is arguably the most Westernized JRPG out there and comes out what, two months after ME2?
Nonetheless, for people who have played Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect and Dragon Age, the words "best game that has come out of our studio in the history of BioWare" will be like heaven.
