Hahaha, I missed that. Kingdom Hearts wouldn't count as well going by that logic. The only game produced on that list post-merger is the original Crystal Chronicles.

You know, the usual Squaresoft and Enix argument...

"And yet, I've realized that maybe living a "decent" life means you won't ever have a "good" life."

To be reasonably on-topic, it seemed like that rumor about Crystal Bearers getting pushed up was true. I got an e-mail yesterday from my parents that the Gamestop back home had called them about the game arriving in stores today (December 17th. I'm on the east coast of US). I won't have that confirmed one way or another until this evening, as i don't know when exactly my mom was planning on going to try and pick it up.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Squaresoft and Enix exploded and some how the remains produced Square-Enix.

I was interested in this game for a while now, and I'm still interested. Besides, I like zelda much more than traditional FF games.

It might be getting bad reviews because people don't like that it moved away from the traditional RPG formula.

Nintendo Power gave this an 8 too.

I suspect that reviewers who review this game for what it is - action/adventure/sandbox really appreciate it but those reviewers who judge it for what it's not - RPG, or even FF:CCish score it poorly.

Personally this will be the first FF game I've owned as I'm not a fan of JRPGs but this sounds great.

A good for the Wii is a good game for me.

It certainly seems that way these days. Games are rated on their own merits, but based on company, platform, brand. I wonder how this game would have faired if was under an original name.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

I've already made up my mind and decided to get the game, no matter how it does in reviews. It looks fantastic!
