Japan has done pretty DAMN good this gen. Not as well as previous gens, but a lot better than many people think. Some of the highest rated games thus far this gen have come from Japan (Super Mario Galaxy, MGS4, Twilight Princess).

If the majority of your list is unreleased games(red) and subpar games(green) then we definitely have a problem with the statement that japan has made the best games this gen.

Final Fantasy XIII, and Bayonetta are both out in Japan and have very high reviews.

Reasonance of Faith isn't out yet, and WKC got rather average reviews

No...games in white are games that have already been released.....wait are we talking about my white or your bolded white?

I don't know. I was just saying that Bayonetta got several scores over nine, and FFXIII got a Famitsu score of 39. You had them as unreleased that is all I changed

But how do we know if those games are even good if only the japanese played it?

Have you played all the games that you kept white?

Ive beaten all of them besides diabolical box (Havent finished it yet) MGS4 and Vesperia and spirit track......ive played all of them though.........but the point wasnt that I played them, it was that they were released worldwide and everyone has a chance of playing them.



N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

i didn't release the poll only had two choices (japan vs. the world) as oppose the the actual poll of: canada, france, japan, UK, US, other.

I remember when an opinion was something that an INDIVIDUAL had, not something that was argued (and forced upon others) as if it were a science. This thread was started based on a poll, and that poll's purpose was to gather opinions of the larger community. Thus, to argue against the poll seems kinda asinine. The majority have already spoken through the poll results and said their opinions leaned toward the Japanese developed games being superior. So maybe I just don't understand this thread, as it seems like it's very essence is that of redundancy. I guess there are always people on both sides that like to keep the argument/discussion going.

For the record, I voted Japan all the way. Although I teetered a little due only to the fact that the Metroid Prime series was born in the US.
