Isn't this the first day!? Excuse me for my ignorance for Japan sales trends but do we expect all the bundles to be sold in First day!?

Actually with 2 days of sales. Japan is the most front loaded region, most of the games sell 50% in first week and for FF and DQ it could reach 70% of total sales in FIRST DAY!

If the game manages to sell out the first shipment, I'll be glad. Anyway, S-E already won their money just by shipping the copies right? Probably the game already broke even and made some profit.

That is correct, SE gets all the $$$ for every copy shipped right away. The retailers are the ones who will be shafted if the sold through % is low.

Yes, as long as there is no agreement between Square and the retailers where they'll buy back bundles or games/make up for lower prices needed to move inventory. I don't think SE would have to do that though.

If the 1.3 report was the true retailer report... but SE wanted to get 1.8 out there.

Either way the discount looks like it was just something they do to get people in that store instead of others.  Nothing to worry about I think.

yeah it says in both pictures it is sold out. I'm anxiously waiting for first day numbers. When do they come in? I think it's around 5 hours from now or so?
