That is correct, SE gets all the $$$ for every copy shipped right away. The retailers are the ones who will be shafted if the sold through % is low.

Yes, as long as there is no agreement between Square and the retailers where they'll buy back bundles or games/make up for lower prices needed to move inventory. I don't think SE would have to do that though.

If the 1.3 report was the true retailer report... but SE wanted to get 1.8 out there.

 

Either way the discount looks like it was just something they do to get people in that store instead of others.  Nothing to worry about I think.
