misleading thread, thats PS3 only

Interesting. MW2 on 360 over ODST, and KZ2 on PS3 over MW2. Oh dear, I see some heated arguments ahead.

I thought from the headline you meant that it won Best Overall Shooter for 2009... it's a no-brainer that it won for IGN PS3 since it was really the only AAA shooter released this year that was PS3 exclusive, unless you were to count Uncharted 2, but that's more of an action/adventure game.

It would be quite an embarassment for MW2 if ODST beat it imo.

Modern Warfare 2 won best XBox360 shooter.
Modern Warfare 2 is available on the PS3.
Killzone 2 won best PS3 shooter.
Killzone 2 > Modern Warfare 2?

It's interesting that Killzone 2 won, but I think that being a good exclusive definitely helped it win out over Modern Warfare 2.  That, or IGN really liked Killzone 2.

EDIT:  I haven't played Modern Warfare 2, so I can't comment on which is better.  But honestly, Killzone 2 wasn't all that great to me.  It was a good, solid shooter, but I never would have thought it was GOTY material.
