I don't mean to troll this game as it's untouchable on this board just don't get delusionally overhyped by industry reviews, awards, etc.
Always decide for yourself, and do not base your purchase upon generic reviewer's opinion. For example, if you happen to really hate cinematics and cutscenes, you should get warned that U2 has plenty of them.
I just purchased my copy a few days ago. can't wait till i get home to play it.
This "thing" that's telling you to buy Uncharted 2...listen to it, and any future advice it may give, because it has good taste.

Not really, no.
If you can handle the cutscenes in every other game ever (bar MGS4/JRPGs), Uncharted 2 is no worse. And they're all skippable. But why would you want to skip them? They're some 5 minutes each, not 60 minute long borefests.
EDIT: Also, looking at the OP's name and avatar, do you REALLY think he hates cutscenes?
