Famitsu's preview before the review said that they were at 150 hours and there was still things to be done.

FFXIII may well be the next GTA IV , Resi Evil 5 or Modern Warfare 2. It will sell well. But it will have its fans and its haters. Just like every big release game that comes out.

If a well known game reviewer writes up a negative review on FFXIII they will have a lot of courage. It is easy to make a review that goes along with the mainstream and praises it. But a review that is controversial and highlights its faults that is worth reading and would create a stir.
