So there has been some new FFXIII Information leaked from the latest issue of famitsu!

This game is really shaping up to be great!

SPOILERS ALERT.

There will be no MP at all, and no spells to cast in game. The only time you can heal is out of combat and it instintly heals your entire party. Experts are calling this the "casualisation" of the series, to match closer to the success of other major casual franchises like halo and gears of war. In order to meet the very strict minimal costraints of the XBOX360's hardware, there will be no sidequests, no roaming, no returning to any other areas, and no extra characters. It is an entirely linear game.

Lightning dies.

Sera and Lightning are the same person, and time travel is involved.

Really.

Also, no side-quests and extremely linear gameplay throughout the entire first half of the game.

The skill tree is a carbon copy of Final Fantasy 10.
