And we're also FUCKING SICK of you just taking random modern artists who have had a couple years of chart success and comparing them to some of the greatest music artists and song writers of all time. What's next, Britney Spears is the new Beethoven? You can't sink much lower at this point.
Your arguments are also tired and boring. If we point out quality, you point out chart success. If we point out the chart success of past artists, you point out quality (usually with a quip about how Taylor Swift is as good of a song writer as some timeless musician such as McCartney, Lennon, Bob Dylan, etc.). And if we get mad at you and insult Taylor Swift (which is really not nearly as bad as your constant and overzealous praise of her), you just claim that we don't like her because we're sexist.

Educate yourself. Listen to music from different time periods. Hell, listen to Moonlight Sonata, I don't care. I'm just fucking sick of you and your constant praise of a singer who hasn't done much yet. She is just as good. You're right! She's nowhere near as successful yet, but shes on the rise and she is a huge huge star right now, just as the beatles were when they first stated.
Britney Spears is an icon.. You cannot deny that, cause she is amazing and is a world wide sex symbol and has the highest first week sales ever by a female artist.
I'm tired of the same arguments here that any music thats not Pink Floyd or Beatles is shit music, cause thats not true at all.
Educate myself? I think somepeople need to learn how to take other peoples opinions without crying about it. If someone doesn't like my opinion they can either accept it or they can pout and stomp their feet like you are doing right now. I am mad because you just take everyone else's opinions and don't absorb them at all. It's almost like you have plugs in your ears solely for when someone makes a legitimate counter-argument, and then you take them out momentarily to shill for Taylor Swift some more.
And please don't confuse The Beatles with Taylor Swift when it comes to success. Michael Jackson has the best selling album of all time and was selling millions of albums before he was even 10 years old, and even he didn't sell as many albums or was as successful as The Beatles. The Beatles were stars when they first started, just like every artist that goes on to be successful. They have to start somewhere. It doesn't mean Taylor Swift's career will follow anywhere close to the career of The Beatles (and it won't). And Britney Spears isn't an icon anymore. She was big earlier, but just look at how quickly she faded. And despite her crazy success for a couple of years, she didn't end up anywhere near as successful as The Beatles, and no one would even compare the two in quality.
The thing is, it's your fault for drawing hate towards Taylor Swift. None of us were going around making "I hate Taylor Swift threads" before you started talking about her. It's just that you had to shill for her in a dozen different threads and make ridiculous comparisons between her and famous music artists. And the thing that a lot of people keep telling you is that while there is good music besides Pink Floyd and the Beatles (and other past bands), we don't blabb about them ALL THE TIME. I'm sure Taylor Swift is a very good singer and songwriter, and I congratulate her on her musical success. But don't making ridiculous fucking comparisons with her and past singers. You have no idea how her career will measure up. You don't see me comparing Aretha Franklin to the Beatles, and Aretha is 10 times the singer and music artist than Taylor Swift, penis or not.

And if what you say is true, then answer this: What the fuck do you know about The Beatles?
