Well yes for a GOTY it underperformed in the US, but I don't think he is aware of the European numbers.
It also will have nice legs.

Pachter is a fan of the two console dynamic, hence why he always has PS3 and 360 doing nearly as well in his forecasts, the only console he ever expects to do poorly (relatively speaking) is the Wii. So when one of the two is behind, he wants it to do better.

The marketing wasn't very creative or exciting, like a Halo or Gears. Sony needs to learn how to market outside the core demographic, because that is the difference between decent and blockbuster sales.
Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.
I'm sure there are many people like me who have yet to even play the 1st uncharted. I will be purchasing both, probably after the holidays. Perhaps Pachter needs to consider legs over huge initial releases.

secondly in EVERY single uncharted 2 sales thread I have been ridiculed for my original predictions, why didn't you call out people then?
Finally calling out people for predictions isn't bad at all....an opportunity to say these things presented itself & I said them

Especially such a witty likeable character like Nathan Drake, they did miss on this one, but the "dear playstation" ad was good, it didnt really showcase arguably the most charming part of the game, the characters.

It didn't have legs enough to even beat Borderlands.
