I think Wii/PSP would actually be the better route for stuff like Powapuro or Gundam personally. I'm surprised more companies aren't going for it actually.

What about DQX? I haven't heard anything since last year.

Some might say the same about FFvsXIII, but atleast every couple of months your hear something from Square which shows that it is well alive.

I wouldn't be too shocked if it actually moved to the DS (2)...

Well, for some reason Koei seems to think that the new Fist of the North Star game is going to be huge. Aren't they predicting over a million for the PS3 and 360 versions combined? That seems kinda crazy for a series that isn't very popular in the West.

Yeah another problem with gaiming is the attention handhelds are getting. Usually you get a handheld for simple games or handheld games like pokemon, now its getting even the major Console games like DQ, MH, tales, gundam, Phantasy Star, and more. And since they are substantially cheaper to produce on a handheld i dont blame the companies for approaching that market, in the end their main target is making profit, and fact is in Japan that Handhelds are the way to go right now

yea that's what they said about dynasty warriors gundam in japan too. Koei is way too overconfident about their games. This is a game that probably would have sold a million last gen. I don't see any reason to expect it to outsell dynasty warriors gundam. Gundam being a more popular series with a more hardcore fanbase. Either way PS3 is already has the musou fanbase.

Actually they said 2 million for Gundam Musou. On just PS3. Only in Japan. lol.

I'm far from an expert on Japan, but I'm pretty sure the Fist of the North Star manga was very popular, plus its made like a dynasty warriors game which are popular. I could see 1 million happening, maybe.
