Master of Orion 2 or Ultima 7, moo2 because you can shape universe to be whatever you want it to be and ultima 7 because radiant ai is laughable compared to ai in ultima 7. :)
Batman arkham asylum was the best game i ever played, bioshock would be close second.
In terms of how long I've played them, it's probably close between Age of Mythology, Up Your Arsenal and Pokemon Crystal.

This is kind of a false dichotomy, because it implies that there is an asbolute, objective metric of quality to determine the "best" game - but there isn't. Your favorite may as well be your pick for best, because it's the one that's provided you the most enjoyment.

Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, Terranigma, and Skies of Arcadia have probably lived strongest on my consciousness in the past decade. Nothing since Skies of Arcadia has really wowed me in quite the same way. |
You sound like my kind of guy. I give 10's to 5 of the 6 games you mentioned. I know it's crazy but I didn't like Xenogears. Skies of Arcadia ranks right behind Chrono Trigger for me, which is odd because I'm definitely NOT an RPG gamer.
Currently playing: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, NBA2k11, Metal Gear Solid, Picross 3d

its just that there is no way i can say fire emblem is the better game, its does not push the console in any way, the game is short lived, and the characters are not a enjoyable to watch...but i enjoyed playing it more....just beause i enjoy playing it more doesnt mean it deserves a 10 on the rating scale, MGS4 fits that category...i just hate to hear, oh fire emblem is the best game i ever played, it was so much fun....that would be wrong, a game like that doesnt deserve to be called the best
