hell yeah! one of my favorites. and sorry i can't see DBZ as classic, i absolutely hated since the first time i saw it, along with pokemon... what was all that crap? aren't cartoons supposed to be funny? you know, funny haha, not funny stupid... or was that just me? i'll still watch looney tunes or tom & jerry if they come on, now those are classics! hell, even the simpsons has become a classic.

OMG, I totally remember that show ReBoot!!! I used to watch that all the time, I completely forgot about it.  It seemed kinda weird to me, but I still liked it, and the computer animation was so cool for its time (think about me being a kid too, makes it seem that much cooler)!!

DBZ is an anime, compare it to other animes.
i consider anime as cartoons that are aimed for a more mature audience.


Fullmetal alchemist is pretty good. so is full metal panic(well season 1 sucked but season 2 and 3 were awesome).
or how about Berserk or Deathnote.


if you prefer drama,
try watching Kimi ga nozomu eien with your girlfriend.

Depends what you are exposed to first when your a little kid, always seem the first thing is the best thing.

I was first exposed to japan anime first then moved to U.S at the age of 8, all the American cartoon is piece of shit to me. Yes! even as a kid I dont like watching those junks. I dont like crap that never ends, and reruns forever. every time I get home after school I'll do Homework or Play videogame until those junk cartoons finish and my favorite show "Married With Children" start showing around 5pm.

Not sure how you can single out American cartoons as crap that never ends...I couldn't take DBZ, Inuyasha, even Full Metal Alchemist, which many like. I found it got old pretty quick...drifting from the original goal in every episode.

Animes that ended after a year are usually the best, because they don't get old. Bleach is cool...but basically everything between Ichigo and Rukia seems to be side stories that aren't necessary.

Actually all the cartoons you listed in the O.P. I would call the beginning of the bad cartoons "nowdays". Dungeons and Dragons, Gummi Bears, Captain N, Thundercats, the original Scooby Doo's, Tom and Jerry, Loony Tunes, Smurfs, etc... that's the good stuff.
