Memories flowing back... Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Walt Disney (the old school ones, not today's-imo-crap), Rémi Sans Famille (er Rémi without a familly?), Mystérieuses Citées D'or (Mysterious Gold City?)...

Anyways, I can agree though today's cartoons can't compare to yesterday's... Today they show kids to be retards and laugh about crap jokes... *rolleyes*

You can say that about any generation though. Ren and Stimpy, Beavis and Butthead, Rocko's Modern life. People all loved these shows. Just like people nowadays like the one about imaginary land, ben ten (?) and whatever else they watch.

When we all have kids they're gonna think the same thing about the future generations.

Currently playing: Civ 6

Darkwing Duck ftw. Introduced me to so many layers of comedy that The Simpsons took for granted.

...DBZ? Yeah, I caught the tail end of that. Then I realized Goku would simply arrive and mastered THE ALL NEW TECHNIQUE! that 8609589048604 episodes later would kill the end boss...or so he thought!

There is no such thing as a console war. This is the first step to game design.

DBZ.......riiiight.

How about Turtles, Batman, Looney Tunes, or if you prefer anime, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop...these were what I watched when I was younger...now when I look at shows, they look incredibly dumbed down....not even mentioning any show on the Disney Channel. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends doesn't look too bad, not that I really watch it much, but most other shows look incredibly stupid.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I meant dbz the freeza saga cell sag was kl but when it went to the majan buu stuff it was rubbish and I am sure my cable cut out anyway

It's all about the Smurfs!!!

Wii Code 8761-5941-4718-0078

DBZ is many things, but it's not good Anime by any stretch of the imagination. The pacing is GLACIAL, and the animation quality is terrible by modern standards. The comic book is much better.

Go watch Bleach, Cowboy Bebop, Full Metal Alchemist or Tenchi Universe if you want to see what good Action Anime is about. Even among older series, Saint Seiya and Captain Tsubasa moved at a more reasonable pace.

Smurfs lol i got a small friend i call him Smurfette

Cartoons went to crap in the 60s. Give me the deep rich colors of the original Superman 'toons or classic Disney stuff any day of the week. Once cartoons went from artistic endevours to mainstream assembly-line work, the quality has consistently degraded. Some of the stuff from the 40s and 50s was simply amazing.

Captain Planet was pretty awesome as a kid too.

I think that statement just caused an artery to rupture in my brain.
