I'm just glad that they finally gave it a damn name.

Gem is truly outrageous.

I agree with you, but what you said doesn't mean he was trolling.

In fact depending on what Microsoft does with Natal and the reception of the PS3 wand, I could actually trade my 360 for a PS3.

Products change names a bunch before they get released. Even if the motion controller was named "Gem" at some point, that doesn't mean it'll stay that way.

It won't be named until Sony themselves name it.

I was just annoyed because it really had little to do with the thread at hand except pushing Nintendo superiority.

I hope all the motion control schemes do well, but the PS-Sphere just seems like it would help the PS3 become a strong HD alternative to the Wii for a lot of people. And that could be very beneficial for Sony. I just hope they don't mess it up like they do with a lot of things.

Yeah the PS3 could become a sort of Wii HD. I just hope that RE5 demo with a dualshock + wand simultaneously was just a retarded preliminary idea that won't be the final product...

The issue I see is really whether Sony will have a nunchuk-equivalent or not. Some people say Nintendo's patents would interfere with that, it would be good to know if that's really the case.
