Preview is US only to compare with NPD.
VGC is America (US, Canada, Mexico, etc) numbers.

The US sales is about 90% of America sales.

It's still a little lower than 90% of the Americas figures, which would be 756,224. But I suppose other factors affect it as well.

Well multiplying by .9 is not the best way to get the figures for just USA. The buying habits of different countries vary wildly sometimes. It isn't a stretch to imagine the PS3 had a bit of extra popularity in Canada or Mexico this month. Or it could just be a touch down from the $100 Wal-mart gift card deal for the 360. These are just guesses, but they seem the most likely.
