Well multiplying by .9 is not the best way to get the figures for just USA. The buying habits of different countries vary wildly sometimes. It isn't a stretch to imagine the PS3 had a bit of extra popularity in Canada or Mexico this month. Or it could just be a touch down from the $100 Wal-mart gift card deal for the 360. These are just guesses, but they seem the most likely.
