Xenogears and FF8 were my favourites of the generation and both in my top 5 of all time.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

It's pretty damn good.
I played xenosaga and thought that was pretty good.
I never noticed anything linear or bad about the 2nd disc or any small annoyance with the game because I was alwasy too busy being blown light years away by the best RPG ever!
It deserves a spotlight in my living room, directly above it, shining down upon it's greatness.

The Xenosaga series doesn't even compare to Xenogears.
I've been a lurker on this site for well over a year now and it was this topic that finally convinced me to actually make an account and post something. The awesomeness of this game was too much to ignore.

Xenogears is an otherworldly experience, to be sure. Many games are great, but few can really transport you to another dimension.
