I'm sure you're all underestimating the revenues of VGC.
Ioi posted a picture of his car, he drives that £2M Bugatti model.... so he sure does get a little doe from here (actually a BMW with customized paint color :p)


ads are often based on your cookies.... so if you see lots of "get ripped" "chat with ladies" ads and such, it means you do go to these sites :p
That or the "gamer" population is associalted with a class of people that do go to these sites so it makes it a prime target for such advertizing.
I mostly get adds for french stuff though (insurance, vacation...), so there is definitely a localisation aspect to them.

Besides the Gamer Print thing I wouldn't know because of the ever glorious Ad Block Plus.

£15 for a shirt is pretty resonable considering most (decent t shirts) go for about £25/£45

Now if only they would make a L4D one ....

But the talking ads are worst. I'm not sure which one it was, but I turned on adblock for a few days. Don't worry, it's disabled again.

I used to get those ads and some nasty yellow teeth would pop up on my page... 

Those ads must make your average gamer very insecure
