Yup. My posting habits and attitudes are slightly different here (different persona, if you will) due to the overall more civilized nature of VGChartz

Boom Blox is great fun with friends. Thumbs up for that game even though VGC seems to be way off tracking the sequel.

Oh please tell me you do the same with Gears of War because if you don't then its hard to believe any of this as credible.  Indeed Gears of War might be the most over rated game ever and if you can find that much wrong with Boom Blox then i want to hear your rant on GeoW.

As for the game, congrats to it.  I also think the sequel was better but I did enjoy my time with Boom Blox.  Wasn't an amazing game but definitely a fun one.

Firstly, I never played the original BB, but I've had plenty of fun with BBBP. With that being said I can't say for certain, but I'd imagine the sequel didn't require nearly as much investment as the original.(Not that the original had a HUGE budget to it either, but speaking relatively the statement stands) So while VGC's BBBP numbers could be too low, it's not necessary that they be higher than BB at all to be more successful from a profits standpoint.

@ Zucas Everything I said about the game is true. I really don't like it at all.

The physics in the game are excellent. Fine. I said something good about it.

Gears of War I agree is overrated, but it did have a cool cover system. That's what set that game apart from other shooters. By the way, did I mention the shooting sections in Boom Blox? They were terrible. How does a laser beam have a delay? Shouldn't it be at the speed of light?

The shooting sections were non-existent to me. I'd rather not remember them.
