I don't want to say too much but...

The creator of Bloom Blox, Lou Castle, is my boss. He commented about BB and BBBP on his introductory speech to our company since it was his last project at EA prior to coming to us.

To sum it up:

VGC is way, way off. According to what I heard BBBP > BB in terms of success. That is all I'll say. I know a bit more but I don't want to breach my NDA. Sufficive to say, I had no idea VGC had BBBP cited at such a number.

Firstly, I never played the original BB, but I've had plenty of fun with BBBP. With that being said I can't say for certain, but I'd imagine the sequel didn't require nearly as much investment as the original.(Not that the original had a HUGE budget to it either, but speaking relatively the statement stands) So while VGC's BBBP numbers could be too low, it's not necessary that they be higher than BB at all to be more successful from a profits standpoint.
