One of the editors actually dislike Nintendo quite a bit, OMG What a suprise.

He doesn't dislike nintendo he just recognizes that the last two years nintendo's software lineup has been utter shit.

Your gonna piss off a nearly 60 million userbase to please who? Some developers who keep

crying for more power? It just makes no sense to me. First party software-wise this was

definitely Sony's year they were consistent throughout year and truly delivered. Microsoft had

a solid but not spectacular year but it feels like they lost something the last half of the year.

The PS3 price cut really snatched some momentum from them. Next year should be interesting

between the two. As for Nintendo I don't think they will ever please everyone. This was a

down year for them in software but, several solid third party games were released I think

something has to be done to make people more aware of what games the system has. You

hear about PS3 and 360 games months sometimes years in advance and the hype doesn't die

down. Something needs to change if third parties are going to make any sales on the

platform.

Wow, so 2D Mario is the suxxors according to Shatterfield and is not a core game. This gen is amazing.

Amazing. And people say that there is no bias against the Wii in gaming media. No bias at all.

Well from the perspective of his demographic I guess he makes an argument... by his demographic it's gamers who are angry at Wii.


But to be fair, Wii sells a lot due to games like Wii Fit. I'll probably be getting a Wii for my mom. For me personally, the best games are on the PS3/PC. If I only had a Wii I'd be upset about what games were available too... that's just demographics.
