PLEASE stop with the stealth edits!

& technically FF12 likely to be 99% over as there must be over 100,000 JRPG games released.....out of them lets say 20 made it over 5.68 million

that puts FF12 into the 0.02% that did make it over the 5.68 million bracket

 

100,000 JRPG games released? Now who is being unreasonable, no one generation has more than 200-300 JRPG released on one domination platform, with ps2 possibly having more than that. 

all I need is for there to be OVER 2000 JRPG's released on gaming platforms counting PC's, handhelds & so on

your doing stealth edits as fast as the wii was selling in 2008!

2,322 of RPG in this site, given some of the titles might be missing, but that is made up from the fact that many versions of same game exist. This also including PC RPGs.

Also, I don't particulary agree with your assesment of Final Fantasy being lost as a series, but it's mainly because you threw that at first as being a fact, but you corrected yourself by stating it to be your opinion. I don't have a problem with people's opinions, is just that there is so many personal opinions in this site that are used as "hard facts", that I get a bit on the defensive when I see people do that.

I know Final Fantasy games are one of the three most strongest JRPG franchise. Currently I lost faith in Square Enix ability to make console games all together truth be told, for the last two-four years, I haven't played anything decent by them. 

Also while Lightning is growing on me, mainly because she actually smiled in the last trailer, still hate Sazh, I truly believe the lack of emoness that Cloud had is going to not make her as popular.

Edit: Also I totally agree, that people opinion are faced off as facts, so I understand. Like it is Darth opinion that he has crazy sales prediction for 10 million. Also Darth, don't said Jerry after me.

it may be close to 98% but its not close to 95% at all.....its closer to 100% than 95%

Then we have diverged opinions about Square-Enix ;) In fact in the past four years i've played tons of great RPG from them, going from Final Fantasy XII to Dissidia (it's more of a fighting game, but has tons of RPG elements as well, and you can actually play it RPG command style).

Plus, they're launching the next Parasite Eve and the next Lufia, so they have returned to my most beloved producer spot once again xD

Out of all characters from FFXIII, the one that I still don't know whether if will like or not is Snow, but it's too early to draw conclusions. In Final Fantasy XII Basch and Gabranth didn't seem as much of as good characters at the start but in the end their story and the story of their blood feud blew me away.
I don't know if Lightning will become a popular character of not, it will depend on a lot of factors, even by the success of the actual game itself.

The problem here is that SquareEnix is a big company with very few teams that are actually on the level of say "kojima productions", "bungie" & so on

that team hasn't made a game in those 4 - 5 years your talking about

& Jerry has been sent after you, if I were you, I'd use an invisibility cloak

& I still believe FF13 can sell 10 million all said & done

I agree on your judgement of sazh, but the chocobo in his head has made him likeable for me

Given the evidence doesn't provide reasonable data on PC sales (shio could argue this for me, not going to act like I know PC sales). Also my measurement of data wasunreasonable when I first to jumped at you. My measurement was using A)Using all non-PC gaming devices B)Using only three generations worth, and C)RPG=JRPG...

Also while it is closer to 100%, saying that is more than 95% is more reasonable. Ok I will admit that 99% was just quick reflex on my part, but given rationality, I would never say below 90%.

Edit: NO NOT JERRY...given I do have one thing going for me, a huge body of water.

The last time shio came into a Final Fantasy thread, we all got lectures about how FF11 has been the most successful Final Fantasy game ever

so please, don't even summon him.
