& technically FF12 likely to be 99% over as there must be over 100,000 JRPG games released.....out of them lets say 20 made it over 5.68 million

that puts FF12 into the 0.02% that did make it over the 5.68 million bracket

Yeah, but it's kind of unfair for other people to see one thing and a few seconds later see another thing. It feels like you're hiding something.

Also you didn't adress my other question. Even considering mixing remakes, remixes, final mixes, the whatshernameorwhatever version of games, the fact still remains that each Final Fantasy game is on the top percentile of JRPG sales of all time. 5.68 M (or 5.79 M going by your measures) hasn't been achieved at least for 95% of all JRPG games starting from NES times.

100,000 RPG games it's way too much. Considering that the usual library for a console is usually composed of 3k -5k games, even if you consider the whole 7 generation of consoles, you'll be hard pressed to find even 20k RPG games.

But using your same logic, even if, let's say, a 100 RPG's sold more than 5.68 M, it still leaves FFXII on the top 0.5%

100,000 JRPG games released? Now who is being unreasonable, no one generation has more than 200-300 JRPG released on one domination platform, with ps2 possibly having more than that. 

No it was revised after S-E said they had shipped over 6 million units or so of FF12

& I DO believe there are more than 2000 JRPg's n existence

See I actually agree with your statement but throwing out 99% to me is unreasonable.

Also half the stuff I have been quoted in saying such as Lightning being horrible because she looks like Cloud were incorrect.

Exclusivity & character popularity don't have much to do with eachother considering one of the most popular characters of this generation is from a  multiplatform game

2,322 of RPG in this site, given some of the titles might be missing, but that is made up from the fact that many versions of same game exist. This also including PC RPGs.

No way in hell is 100,000JRPG going to exist like you said.

I just wanted to adress that particular point, given that it's a common knowledge fact that Final Fantasy games are amongst the highest selling RPG games. Even PC RPG's are hard pressed to sell in numbers similar to the numbers that FF games achieve.

True that they cannot even be compared to the sales of Pokemon games, but they are the second highest selling RPG franchise, and they will continue to be so.

Also, I don't particulary agree with your assesment of Final Fantasy being lost as a series, but it's mainly because you threw that at first as being a fact, but you corrected yourself by stating it to be your opinion. I don't have a problem with people's opinions, is just that there is so many personal opinions in this site that are used as "hard facts", that I get a bit on the defensive when I see people do that.

ok Gamespot has 50 RPG games on each page

& they have 71 pages

so:

50 TIMES 71 = 3550

Counting all re-releases & games to be launched (out of which hardly any will sell more than FF12 barring pokemon & FF13) its a BIG LIST

& it EASILY puts FF12 above 99%
