Then you are contradicting your own statement from earlier in the thread.

And please, get back on topic of why Mario needs LBP to be better.

Confirmation was non-existent at the time though.

Are you gonna get back on topic?

Will you talk about how Sackboy and Little Big Planet are superior to ay other 2D platformer this gen? And how they need to push the genre forward?

It's getting rather late, and the CPU is rather tired.  Nice talking to you, and see you very soon.

I'm afraid they are inferior, see its ingrained, the system, the name, the character, all reveal an inferiority to other 2D platformers, but there is an easy solution a few simple steps will move it from fail to sale, transfer to Wii or DS, rename New Super Mario Bros., and replace all the characters with Mushroom kingdom characters, and add in powerups like Super mushrooms, and you'll have a far better game than what it is right now.

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

Without a level creator, or HD, im afraid that game would just be below par.

Try again, and also add in something to do with PSP... You may have a hit.

You put why in the thread title but didn't really give any valid reasons in the post.

Why would Nintendo put their flagship franchise on its competitors console? There would almost be no reason (besides motion controls, which soon won't be a valid reason) to buy the wii.

I gave 3 valid reasons, i could have gave you 5... But that would have been too much, and wouldn't have left it open for debate.

1. HD is a good reason

2. PSP what now? That second word was a biggie

3. I don't get what you were trying to say here

I agree.

Interoperability. It means it can be linked with PSP, arguably the greatest handheld console ever.

Im not TRYING to say anything. Im saying, we could have the greatest platformer ever... If Ninty just let Sackboy teach Mario how to 2D platform.

^Except Sackboy is easily outsold by Mario, clearly the win of NSMB Wii is great, therefore Sackboy has nothing to teach Mario, since he doesn't have Mario's win
