You cannot possibly argue against this. LBP is the highest rated 2D platformer this gen, Mario needs to take hints and tips from Sackboy. What better way to improve your platforming, than team up with the best 2D platformer this gen, on the best platform this gen, Little Big Planet?

Also, take this video into consideration when you think "Woah, he's right... Little Big Planet is WAY better!"

With the power of the Cell, Super Little Big Bros. Would be the best platformer ever, mixing between both 2D and 3D. Even better than Crash Bandicoot 3.

Lol, really glad I own a Wii for Mario!

The one thing I noticed that makes mario such a good platformer is because you have momentum, you run faster it becomes harder to stop, etc. With LBP there is no acceleration time or momentum, making the platforming a lot less fun (and way easier).
