you are misunderstanding him. He means next week in real life, but next 2 weeks of sales numbers. So hardware sold this week, but we don't have it posted yet until next thursday, next week will be posted in 2 thursdays.

Perhaps when Nintendo release a press statement confirming DS and Wii have become their best selling systems yet, some of the negative media hype will die down?

Bah, who am I kidding, they'll throw in the usual crap about Wii having had a terrible year and DS being obsolete compared to the iTouch.

That's exacly what I mean, Wii has sold about 58.37 Million not including this weeks numbers ( week ending December 5th ).  Should be no less than 850,000 to make it over 59 million this week then next week it should sell over 1 million again taking it over the 60 million mark.

I think they will just agree that Nintendo has done very well but they wont admit it,  they will cover it up with random excuses.  Even if When wii tops 80 million and DS tops 160 million they will say they have failed this gen.  Strange times.

I'm counting this weeks numbers aswell which wii is prettym uhc over 59 million and next week when it sells over 1,000,000 it iwll make it over the 60 million mark, then end of the year to top NES which sold 61.90 Million.

Yeah it can probably do it real easy.

I'm going to make a party thread on here this week when it does top 60 million, what I'm going to do is put the user name of people who want to join in.

yes.. im totally happy for wii sales, its getting close in beating nes worldwide sales.. no i reckon it will top nes by the end of the year, my prediction is 62 million by the end of the year, so save this and remember my prediction
