Looks like you never played a decent 3D MMORPG in your life, Dungeons and Dragons doesn't have a slow combat. But that's ok, I proved that this kind of camera works pretty well. And sorry, but it's not an argument. Do you know if Reginleiv has an exciting third person combat?

Dungeons and Dragons is much farther back then you give it credit. Giving it much more periphery vision.
you used an upclose shot in a tavern to try and prove a point... when in reality the standard mode of play is much farther back.

Did you played Dungeons and Dragons? You know that it has an option for cameras, right? And this kind of camera is very weird but it works without problems.

Morrowind has a mode like that too. Doesn't work well.
The fact that you mention it works very weird mentions that...
It wouldn't work. Who uses that camera mode in D&D? No one? I didn't even know it existed.
The gameplay in D&D isn't exactly the best highly tuned gameplay out there either.
I haven't played it, but i've watched plenty of videos of gameplay that had me decide to NOT play it.
It's also on PC... giving it much more control options.
