Gamepro's review of The Conduit is a pretty good one. The writer flat out lies about the game in the review, didn't play the multiplayer, and makes graphical comparisons to N64 games. When he gets called out, he and a guy from 1up decide it is a good idea to make some inflammatory Twitter posts.

Keep the articles coming guys. Will update all of these in the OP. And submit the new ones as they inevitably pop up.

I don't think this thread will have any real effect but I agree with it in principle and that is enough. It's in all our best interests to have gaming journalists generally held accountable for their words because we spend our money according to their recommendations.  As a 360/PS3/PC owner you might not care right now because it's not your system copping the rollicking at the moment but if game journalists are allowed to continue to be a power unto themselves who's to say your system won't be the next target. 

This does bring up an interesting, theory that I haven't fully unfleshed yet.... you know how there are certified technicians for computer repairs, tv repairs, etc? There should be some sort of certification for reviewers, and only legitimate, certified reviewers can make game reviews on gaming and news sites and magazines. There needs to be a level of accountability for reviewers. Not everyone behind a computer should be heard.

It wouldn't be a day on VGChartz without Nintendo fans whining about how everyone is against them.

GameFAQS does have review standards. Their boards are awful (the mods are rude to people), but they actually make sure the reviews are decent.

Unless you can disprove these articles, it's not whining.

Looks like the DS was to blame for the quarterly loss.
