FF6 is my favorite Final Fantasy. I still own it for SNES (FF3 of course).

Before I would have said yes, remake it. But after seeing what they're doing to the new Lufia...I'm not so sure.

Square Enix isn't going to risk the game. Look at FFIV, it is the better version. So... YES!

FFIV was ported tot he GBA and PS as well. A DS remake for VI is likely.

I just really don't understand why fans want 3D remakes of all the older games, FFVI is a beautiful game and it really doesn't need to be remade, play it as it is and was meant to be experienced. If you're going to let something like 2d graphics get in the way of experiencing a game, then you don't deserve to experience it, because that's just stupid.

you onky have to look at the recent remakes of all the early ff's to see that the remakes are rubbish, surely s-e should leave ffiv well alone, it is fine as it is.
if they ever find that magic again (as in the square days) i would love to see them remake ffiv, ffvii and ffviii, not bothered about anything else

They are not rubbish. FFIV is by far the better game on the DS due to the difficulty alone.
