Last one looked pretty but was so dull I've given up on it after just under a half dozen hours.
Sands of Time was one of my top 3 games on PS2 though.

Sands of Time was amazing, with great story telling, audio cast and planty of platforming/action to go around.
The Forgotten Sands has the "Sands" word in it,but will it have more than that?
Why is everyone comparing it to PoP 2008? It would make more sense to compare it to the Sands of Time trilogy, since it is a extension of that trilogy.
Thank god they dumped PoP 2008 where it belong. Not a bad game, but they went the total wrong direction with everything from story to graphics. The SoT trilogy was incredible. Even the second two games, which get a lot of guff were quite enjoyable.
If it comes out on Wii or PC I will buy day one. If it comes out on 360 I might just wait for a price drop. Either way barring some terrible demo/reviews I will get this one quick.
XBL: WiiVault Wii: PM me PSN: WiiVault
PC: AMD Athlon II Quadcore 635 (OC to 4.0ghz) , ATI Radeon 5770 1GB (x2)
MacBook Pro C2D 2.8ghz, 9600m GT 512 iMac: C2D 2.0, X2600XT 256

no, I probably won't buy it. I got PoP 2008 for like $12 off e-bay, but I easily beat it under 12 hours, and while fun I don't need another game like it any time soon.

Asking this question before we know anything about the game is stupid. Wait a few weeks to see if it is just a movie game, or if it is another proper PoP game, and then if it is completely ignoring the most recent, and returning to the Sands of Time

Now,in May 2010 we will have Prince of Persia : The Forgotten Sands. Will you buy it? Did you enjoy PoP 2008 ? Do you want PoP 2010 to be similar or different? |
The only thing that the new prince(if we can call him that since there is no evidence that that guy is a prince) of persia (again we are guessing since persia in never mentioned in the game) had that was ok, were the graphics. Stupid dialog, boooring , etc etc. a complete waste of money but worse of all a complete waste of my money, i havent been able to sell that darn game to anyone not even for US$10.

Hey Listen!
I really don't understand people's hate of PoP2008. It wasn't BRILLIANT or anything, but it was a solid game, with great graphics, a nice soundtrack, some good platforming, and an interesting approach to combat. The "puzzles" left something to be desired and combat, except with bosses was a bit shallow. Also, it was FAR too easy. No part of that game even bordered on reasonably difficult.
Other than that, though, it was enjoyable.
