^Thing is, Wii third party games aren't advertised, a lot of people were looking forward to Rabbids go home, but I have seen almost no ads for it, people are still surprised when they hear its out, and its been nearly a month, what the hell is up with that?



 

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

Party Games and Rail Shooters sell well. Thats why there are so many on the system. Many quality third party games don't sell well, thats why they are few and far between. When they do sell, they get sequels. See Red Steel 2 and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles.

Please, enlighten us: From the above selected titles, which ones bear the same amount of production values, effort and advertising as Assassins Creed II or Resident Evil 5?

 

let me answer that: ONLY MONSTER HUNTER TRI!!!!!!

A game that you´re complaining that it sold only 1mil copies... but it didnt leaved japan yet!!!!!!!!

 

You wanna try and tell me that Valhalla Knights is a great game and it only didnt sold well because its for the Wii? THE GAME IS A TRAIN WRECK! If it was released for other systems people would probably start to burn their own PS3 and XBOXs in the streets out of hate and dispair!

 

 

What does it matter to you if a game doesn't have the same amount of production values or advertising? does it make it less fun to play?

I wasn't complaining about Monster Hunter Tri's sale. It was merely a comparison to the sales of party games. And I highly doubt it'll sell even another 100,000 outside of japan.

Now, whose fault is that? The third parties' for not making Wii games, or yours for not buying them and supporting their efforts? Because I can sure as hell name more than three quality third party Wii games. Off the top of my head:

I own Zack and Wiki, had no interest in any of the other games on your list

Then pay more attention to stuff that's released on the Wii. There are tons of good third party games on the platform, exclusive and multiplat.

YES!!!!!!!!!!

 

production values = care in the making, creativity, effort, investment.

 

Less produtcion values = crappier game!!!!!

You asked me to name a large third party game on the Wii which sold less than the HD versions, and I did so. You can't complain about "inferior versions" (though I hear the Wiimote is better for FPS than the gamepad, never tried it), because remember, that's part of rule 1.
