Yea actaully I heard blizz is working on a new MMO IP, but nothing solid yet, they will be taking their swet time i'm sure.

Pretty much, I've heard those rumors few years back. It's supposed to be set in a completly new universe and they should be working on it already.

I don't think any of those will come close. Even a Pokemon MMO would have a hard time standing up against the almighty WoW

There is no such thing as beating WoW... Not even Blizzard can beat it with a 2nd game.

Well that is not quiete true, once upon a time there was a game in similar position to WoW, called Ultima Online. But as everything, games age. WoW took the MMORPG crown after UO. And there will be a day when this situation will repeat itself.

WoW is today 5 years old and I don't think it can go on much longer with just releasing expansions. BTW Cataclysm isn't recieving great response. (former WoW player here)
