1. Command was awesome, best Star Fox since the 64 game in my opinin.
2. It wasn't made by Nintendo

Star Fox i think could be the next EAD1 game, since their last project was Wii Fit Plus, and that was reportedly done by a very small team. They would have had proper time to start on something like StarFox from Mario Kart Wii's release back in 2008. They've gotta be cooking up something. Unless they're the ones doing Pikmin.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

That's because it's been announced and legally dead (though supposedly still in development since they keep putting it on release schedules) for, what, 5 years? |
Kirby snuck off with Duke Nukem and they're currently enjoying some cocktails on some obscure unknown tropical island somewhere in the Caribbean. for an unspecified amount of time.
I think that's where Fox, Captain Falcon and the WaveRace guys went, too.

Perhaps the 2 Starfox abortions on the GC killed the franchise? My buddy is playing SF64 right now and we were talking about how awesome a proper SF game would be for the Wii.
Not sure if an F Zero game is worth the effort, I dont think it would sell that much. FZero 64 and GC were awesome games though.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Abortions? Maybe for Dinosaur Planet (though you'll catch hell from some around here for saying even that), Assault was quite good, except for the on-foot sections. Tank was fine, arwing sections were at least on par with 64 (except for dialogue)

Agreed. I've never been able to understand the hate Assault gets.

The land missions really killed the fun of the game. My buddy(the one who played SF64 today) is a huge SF fan, but he couldnt finish Assault due to the annoyance of the land missions. As far as Adventures, problem with that game was every single bad guy could be beat by button mashing the attack button. THere was no challenge, I gave up on the game cause of the lack of challenge. The graphics and art direction were great as well. For myself gameplay is king and it fails pretty bad in that category.

Yeah, I pretty much agree about Adventures. Can't say I do about Assault, though. While I didn't think the on-foot missions were as good as the flying missions, I still thought they were pretty fun.
