I just played the demo tonight, great stuff.  Very fluid combos while also being very extensive, the ability to use a lot of items that your enemies drop, the game has TONS of style and simply looks beautiful.  I was so impressed by the demo I just simply hope this game is pretty long. 

I'm going to be looking forward to this little gem when it comes out next year.  I feel like getting DMC 1&3 since I never had the pleasure of playing them and its from the same guys, if they're half as awesome as Bayonetta was it would be worth it.

Anyone else have the chance to play the demo/impressions on it?

Is the demo available for the 360? I haven't checked in a while.

I'm uncertain I can check on my 360, but I was playing it on my friends 360, I think you download it via demo voucher from reserving it.

This was the 360 version, right?

Basically, the version that isn't a gimped port. I'd like to see- if anyone has the PS3 demo- whether they've fixed the issues with that version.

There was nothing wrong with the PS3 version. Its not unplayable.

You wont notice these exaggerated isssues since the gameplay is awesome !

good impressions! i was certainly thinking about preordering this game to get the demo for the 360 if that is true! but glad to knoq you enjoyed it because it does have the same gameplay as devil may cry but seems like it can be a tad bit better. i also want to pick up the previous devil may cry's just because the first one was awesome! Well DMC 2 and 4 were made by another team, and usually fans see them as worse than 1 and 3 :P

okay well i just read up on some reviews regarding devil may cry 2 and devil may cry 4 and i can see why these two games do not stack up well with the original. i'm glad i never purchased devil may cry 2 and 3. (sent via Blackberry)

Hey!! I enjoyed DMC4!!!

It wasn't as awesome as 3, but it was better than 2!! It wasn't as heavy on content as the other's and the cheap cuts they made like re-using the same stages for the second half of the game, going with one song for pretty much most of the game, simply giving giving dante a ton of overpowered moves and weapons and calling it a day, the absolute barebones limited puzzles and environment interation sucked but the core gameplay was still fun!
