Never regretted a console purchase. There are a few games I regret buying tho.

Every system has a few gems. And I like to have a few quality games that I can play over and over, so I wouldn't regret buying any system.

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st 
No... Because I make sure I know what I'm getting.... 360 really doesn't count, but, I'm extremely satisfied with my PS3.. even without backwards compatibility. Also, I don't regret my PSP for a DS.. Very satisfied with my systems, and wont be getting anymore this gen unless it's a replacement.

Elder scrolls 3(Xbox)
The last game was RE5. Disappointed me big time.
I bought a sega cd and really had remorse about an hour after I got out of the store. I ended up taking it back for a refund. It was the best move I ever made in relation to gaming. Sega totally screwed over everyone who purchased one of those IMO. Thats why I waited till they were basically giving Dreamcasts away before I got one. And the Dreamcast was wonderful, it should have survived IMO and to some degree I think Sega CD helped kill it.

Hmm I never actually regret buying anything, When I bought MGS4 I also Bought the bluetooth headset, and the only thing I regret is I don't really use the headset for gaming I use it with my cell phone Because it makes me look awesome. For example....
