mass effect series wont ever come to the ps3 system at all, very simple reason why. m$ wont allow it, m$ has alot invested in the series from the begining and also the series staying on the 360 is part of the contract bioware signed with m$. i think however that a similar type of game will be announced at e3 and released exclusive for the ps3 though.

I doubt it. Sony makes it so that they would have to have special content if they want to port it late. And if this game were to release on Playstation 3 it would be missing one very important feature. The ability to load your last game off your hard drive. That is the only reason that I am picking up the sequel

Unless microsoft bought the right's to the series they really can't do anything really.If bioware want's it on the ps3 they put it on.

The "no comment" approach to Mass Effect PS3 is just to keep themselves in the mix of things. Establish themselves. I believe that there's no way Mass Effect will release on the PS3, let alone ME2.
