I did this thread a while ago but was meaning of fun because I typed 2 2010s

2010 reasons:

-They are doing hard to do it that year

-They will show footage at that year

-Spirit Tracks will be released the same year it was announced

2011 reasons:

-In GT Tv Reggie Fils-Aime said they never promised the game will release that year

-Zelda 25 anniversary will be in 2011

-They only showed an artwork

-Zelda: Twilight Princess was unveiled in E3 2004

I'm putting my bet in mid-2011, what do you think?

I really hope this title will be released in 2010. Miyamoto stated, at the E3 2009, that the game was completed at 80% of the gameplay. Since that, I think they are now working on graphics and Motion+ insertion.

Miyamoto said they weren't able to show a trailer because they had only worked on gameplay. This possiblity means that there's a chance of late 2010.

Hopefully, we'll get Other M and Galaxy 2 as a snack before Zelda Wii =D

The title is going to be unvealed surely at E3 2010. There is also a possibility of releasing the same year, as New Super Mario Bros Wii did.

I hope, and think, 2010.

Also, I don't think anniversary counts for a reason - Nintendo have never cared about anniversaries for their franchises.

Not really, no. Nintendo have never done anything about anniversaries so far, why would they suddenly care about the particular number 25 years, and only when it concerns Zelda? Anniversaries don't help business, so Nintendo don't factor them into their decisions.

The only games that have debuted at e3 and released the same year (By Nintendo) are mii games and other games with minimal assets.

^^^ what about (bad example, I know) walt disney world 50 anniversary, it was huge, and since this game is building a lot of hype and that would be a good excuse I don't see why they can't celebrate that aniversary

Because they never have before, and likely never will. There is simply no plausible reason as to why they would suddenly care about anniversaries, and only with Zelda which isn't even their biggest franchise. If they don't care about anniversaries when it comes to Mario or Pokémon, they don't care about anniversaries, period.
