LOL whiny babies

I really don't see the need for online personally.2D Mario games aren't so much about completion as they are exploration and tinkering around with stuff.

Playing the game with others in the same room is beyond fun. Online it would just seem like work.

How would it seem like work online? You're doing the same exact thing as you are offline...just with friends that can't be right there with you. Co-op games are fun online as well. I can't see how people being in the same room makes it beyond fun yet online it becomes tedious? That makes no sense...

Without Wii Speak, you wouldn't even have any type of contact with the other player. I've always known Mario in a local environment. Mario Kart is great online, but so much more fun with other people. NSMBW would probably be fun online , but it would lose a lot of its appeal.

I'm not going to get into the whole debate, but better to have less appeal than none.

(not saying it has no appeal, just better to have some Multiplayer than none)

can you go to a forum where they discuss about the game no having online?
this is about how he made fun of ign

He made fun of people who said the game should have online, which makes this entirely on-topic. I'm not the one who bought it up though, but that's exactly what this is about.

He said Feather and Cape twice! lol They are the same thing. He meant Leaf and Feather or Leaf and Cape.

I don't see how it matters. Better no online now then getting the game in April next year with online. Online is never an easy implementation and never works well if it is just a tacked on feature. The game needs to be built from the bottom up with online in mind and all of the issues that could occur at the lowest common denominator.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

That's a good point jumpin.

Additionally with what they mentioned about online being possible eventually, that can only mean that they left out some aspects so that they could have a new feature in the next game.

a march update anyone?
I do want online but if it's not possible I won't cry

Nah, it won't be an update.
It would have to be a NSMBW2.

But it shouldn't take long now that the gameplay elements are all there. All they have to do is rearrange most of the art assets and come up with some new level designs and puzzles.

^^^ puzzles?

playing with Wario and Waluigi makes no sense because they are "evil" characters. The choices nintendo looked at was probably Toads or the creepy island people from Sunshine.
