ittleBigPlanet’s getting its long-awaited Online Create mode next week, which’ll allow you and your sack-buddies to put levels together over PSN. See here.

Up to four players will be able to contribute to levels at once. This is part of the 1.21 Leerdammer update, which also includes location-based matchmaking and tons of other additions and fixes.

There’s a movie after the break explaining all the new features.

I'm excited for this. While I'm sure things might get a little frustrating with the online create if you're trying to do something and the other person rewinds and ruins the work you just did.

I think online creation would benefit the system my friend and I had when we created a level last year. I did most of the building and he did the details and while rewinding would mess with the things he was doing, it wasn't anything that would mess him up that much.

I also like this since the other players get their own camera. That would have been perfect for my friend and I so he could go off and do his own thing while I did mine and the pop-it window wouldn't be constricted.

Of all weeks! My last two weeks of school!

After finals, I will be all over this!
