I was hoping the PS3 would make it to 400k. Now there doesn't seem a chance for it to reach 700k for next week's numbers. Hopefully it will be able to get over 600k.

Ok, relating to sony official number, the ps3 has been sold to 27.04 M at the end of september.

9 weeks later, VGC says 27.04 M PS3 has been sold.

3 solutions :
1/ 2.271 M PS3 in stock
2/ Wrong VGC numbers on peak a 2.271 M
3/ a bit of both.

In two week Sony will reach and probably announce the 30 M barrier.

I am sure ioi is well aware of this and has made a few tweaks to the way he gets his final numbers.

He has always been within the margin of error and he is doing a good job. That been said i jope you are right lmao. But that is for my own selfish reasons so

PS3/Wii have been undertracked by this site in comparison to NPD for the past 3 months or so, 360 has been over.

I'm sure there have been adjustments since, but thats not what I'm talking about.

360 numbers are suprisingly high, i guess the low price point will work wonders for them during he main periods.

i still stick to my orig prediction that 360 may edge the ps3 in xmas sales due to the arcade.

thats what cost sony the most this gen, they was always to high priced.

Good sales for all i hope they pick up when the economy gets better. Congrats to Sony for making a great holiday season.
