Since I hate the character design for both, neither, but truth be told I rather take Lightning over that reject any day.
Noctis seems to be everything I hate about playstation final fantasy characters summed into one.
For those wondering what I am talking about is the fact that in lamest terms he acts like a loner. I could say that he is "cold" and "distant" but to me lamest terms sums it up more.
Further more I know Lightning presents these characteristics aswell, but only towards Snow.
I pick Lightning, good character design and a female lead is a good change.

I'm really liking Lightning after this recent trailer.
Noctis, like Sephiroth, I'm afraid is going to be a big fangirl/fanboy character with not so much development except for "looking badass." I hope to be wrong though.
