CONFIRMED: God Of War Collection Coming to EU 2010, “Not At The Start”

It’s been confirmed that the God Of War Collection, comprising of God Of War 1 & 2, both with graphical updates, will definitely be heading to Europe in 2010,  but not at the start of the year.

Speaking in the latest Official Playstation Magazine Podcast, at the 31:30 minute mark, the team reveal that Kratos will ship overseas in Europe next year.

“It’s definitely coming, it’s definitely coming next year, not in 2009 but 2010 at some point, not in the very beginning.”

The actual date remains a secret. The team also reveal that similar Ico & Shadow Of The Colossus packages may be in the works.

I don't understand why.

Honestly, just RELEASE the thing! You have the games already! You have them in multiple languages! You have them in HD, with trophies! Put the multiple languages IN the Collection, and RELEASE it!

Could somebody please explain why we are not playing GoW Collection yet?

I REALLY do not know

Even Uncharted 2 released a week late for us

ratchet 2 weeks late

SONY & ninty are the only ones who still can't manage to do simulteneous worldwide releases for their 1st party games

Microsoft manages it fine!

Uncharted 2 released 3 days later here, because games launch on Friday in Europe, most of the time. I'm not sure why, but I can survive a three day wait.

Ratchet was slightly more annoying, two weeks. That is getting absurd.

This, however...waiting FOUR MONTHS for a game which is, not only:

  • Already released in America, BUT
  • ALREADY RELEASED IN EUROPE, in the form of two PS2 games!

Maybe I'll email Sony about this.

Oh, I don't care much about GoW 1/2 since my classmate is a big fan of them and I can just borrow them, but...

yes that excited me more

as whil I've played the GOw games, I have actually NEVER played ICO or SOTC..so this collection would be perfect!
