Forums - Nintendo - Would developers give a Wii HD the games they denied the Wii so far?

Only a few major releases FFXIII, Resident Evil, Modern Warfare level games. To me it is just too late for Nintendo and third parties to start over with a WiiHD. Next gen sure but right now it makes no sense. Not many people would upgrade to a new machine this soon. It would likely sell poorly giving it a low install base. If the Wii doesn't get many big games now what would it get with an install base a tenth or so its current size?

Been out of the loop for a few months, and they are still going at an HD Wii...
Not going to happen anytime soon.

That's actually a very good reason why Nintendo isn't doing this, and why the analysts are just fooling themselves.

The point of this thread is that when developers whine about the specs, they wouldn't have supported the system even with the specs.

If they were not complaining about the specs, they probably would have found another reason. Stupid people.... Biggest install base.. Some people say that it does not matter that the Wii has the biggest install base. Well it does. Biggest install base  + good game + good marketing = $$$$.

I bet that if Monster Hunter Tri and Red Steel 2 do get good marketing and some good bundles here both games will sell a lot here in the West.

The same goes for Tales Of Graces/Samurai Warriors 3 / The other Samurai game on Wii / Dragon Quest X.

I dont think there is much Need since those game made (or didnt ) money on HD consoles, releasing them some years later wont have much impact

maybe, but who cares, that's why you should research which console is getting those 3rd party games.

Whether or not they're on Wii HD or one of the other two consoles, Nintendo will always outsell them. There's usually like 2 or 3 other games per generation that get Nintendo sale.

It's not the issue here, and if either of you think we don't know which system is getting what games, you should remember what site this is.
