Forums - Sony - PS3/360 MW2 difference?

This is a serious question. I'm a Playstation fan through and through but I can't believe IW would have such terrible hit detection in one of their games as well as the massive(well a split second but in a fast paced game it makes a big difference) lag when registering a kill or shot(everything else is pretty awesome in the game).  I only bring it up because my friend who plays on the 360 kept bitching about the PS3 sucking as the reason instead of the game or the lag sucking when he was playing on my brothers PS3. Is there a noticable difference on the PS3 than on the 360 or is it just bad hit detection and laggy kill registering on all consoles? Please no fanboyism. has anyone played both and noticed a difference?

both games are almost identical to each other, their will be some slight differences but you really gotta try hard to find them.

As for the lag, neither system has dedicated servers, they both use P2P, you can blame IW for this stupid move not the PS3 or 360, so if your friend is using lag as an excuse to bag out the PS3, tell him to go F@#k him self because he doesn't know jack shit, plain and simple.

^pretty much this

I've played both loads and yes there is a difference but not anything major and certainly nothing to argue about!

any problem with the ps3 version should have been fixed by now. only difference visually is the usual brighter contrast like color palette of the ps3. It shouldn't matter really.

Dude both have lag and horrible hit detection, not just PS3.

What he said.

Thanks for the input, Jeff.

I've played both plenty and there's lag in both. Like every game.

I've got it on 360, and it lags, but it isn't detrimental to anything really.

AceRock owns one PS3, one PS Vita, and one PS4.
