Whoa, that's a good improvement since E3, they put some nice polish on the models. This is probably my next purchase after L4D2.

Nintendo Power said this wasn't scary? I was scared just watching that interaction...
"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

IGN said something about wearing diapers.
Different things scare different people. Maybe there wasn't enough gore or enough jump outs for the Nintendo Power guy.
Me? I'm scared that this game might not sell very well. At least it'll catch the holiday wave.

*sigh*
OT: Looks better than Homecoming, but that's not saying much yet. The video wasn't scary at all, but I don't think it was even supposed to be that way.

What I've always found scary is the build-up. Gore and cheap scares are lame because they're over quickly. For me the atmosphere and build-up to a scare is the scariest part, becuase you don't know what goings to happen next.

I've seen much much scarier conversations than that.
In this video there were just 2 people talking in an empty bar. They could have improvemed the atmosphere much more.
The beginning of Indigo Prophecy was scarier than that and I'd list Indigo Prophecy as a "mysterious" game, but far from "scary".
Wow, those are some pretty graphics, possibly the best 3rd party effort I've seen on Wii, visually speaking.

I lol'd at the guy controlling the camera, couldn't stop staring cybil's clevage. Game looks better everyday, Silent Hill is my favorite videogame series but it never really scared me much.
